The Life-Force Academy (LFA) is a global training platform for the yogic arts and sciences, founded by renowned teacher Jai Dev Singh. It offers both online and in-person classes, courses, and retreats focusing on Kundalini Yoga, Ayurveda, and Yogic Astrology.

The Problem

LFA had a content problem hiding inside a product problem. New members arrived with no clear path into their first practice. Membership tiers were confusing. The public site and member portal felt like two different products. Inside the portal, content was hard to find and even harder to browse. The result: people dropped off before they ever got to the good stuff, the library sat underutilized, and the team was fighting the product to ship anything new.

My Role & Ownership

I was the sole designer on this project, owning UX strategy end-to-end. From discovery and problem definition through to post-launch iteration. That meant leading research, redesigning onboarding and membership flows, establishing a scalable design system, and partnering directly with engineering in agile sprints.

Discovery & Research

I started with stakeholder interviews, a review of existing analytics, and a full audit of the information architecture and content structure. The goal was simple: find where the funnel was actually breaking down, and why.
